As a recent transplant to Colorado, I love to see and do new things in my new home state. I am always amazed by the beauty and diversity of Colorado. And Strawberry Park hot springs in Steamboat Springs was one of the first ones I tried, and it was one of the most spectacular springs in Colorado.

Mount Falcon Castle Trail Loop is a 6.7-mile loop trail located near Morrison, Colorado that offers the chance to see wildlife, castle ruins, lookout towers, abandoned plans for a summer white house, and great views of Denver. The trail offers a number of activity options and is open all year (weather permitting). The trailhead is nestled in the small community called Morrison in the foothills just about 30 minutes from Denver.

Train travel doesn’t usually have the hype and glam of other forms of travel. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy flying all over the world. But for me, there is something nostalgic and beautiful about train travel. I love to feel the click clack click clack rocking of the train cars. And to listen to the train whistle blowing low and strong across the plains. Time seems to slow down, and life just doesn’t have the hustle-bustle that is normally there. It is soothing for the soul.
